Best Tips when Flying Low Cost with Ryanair

With budget air flights today, the dream of travelling the world has become more achievable. While budget air flights might appear very attractive, they are often laid with numerous fees, rules, conditions; and often involve some complex process.   • The airline applies an administration fee on the air ticket booking, if the flight tickets have been booked through debit or credit card. For credit cards, 2% of the bill amount is charged.
  • The airline offers priority boarding (for 2€/£2) and reserved allocated seating for 5€/£5 on advance booking and 7.50€/£7.50 for booking at the airport.
  • Children under 16 years of age need to be accompanied by another person aged above 16 years.
  • The airline requires pregnant women over 28 weeks, to present a ‘fit to fly’ certificate from the doctor. The certificate must be dated not later than 2 weeks from air flight
  • Ryanair charges 30€/£30 per infant (under 2 years of age) for one side travel. Passengers with infants are allowed one bag up to 5kg for free.
  • Priority boarding passengers are allowed one free bag and one cabin luggage not exceeding 10 kgs or (55cm x 40cm x 20cm) in dimensions.
  • Non-priority passengers are permitted one small bag not exceeding dimensions of (40cm x 20cm x 25cm).
  • Ryanair passengers can carry up to 3 chargeable checked baggages, 20 kgs each which can be purchased online at cheaper rates than the airport.
  • The flight ticket modification cost about 30€/£30 during online booking in low season, 40€/£40 during online booking in high season or 45€/£45 during airport booking in low season, 60€/£60 during airport booking in high season.
  • Passengers can check-in online 15 days before scheduled air flight departure and not later than 4 hours before air flight
  • Boarding pass printing is chargeable is at the airport. All passengers must print their boarding pass by checking-in online within the deadline.
  • The airline does not offer any complimentary drinks or snacks on the air flight. All meals and drinks are chargeable.
  • There is no-inflight entertainment.
