Group travel insurance

Traveling is the most exciting word for all of us, doesn’t matter whether we are traveling alone or with friends or family in a group. We all just want to leave all our problems behind us and try to enjoy our trip with full of energy and enthusiasm. Moreover, no one wants to be disturbed on their vacation because of unnecessary problems such as money being stolen, losing important stuff/documents, emergency medical conditions et al. So, if you are traveling alone or in a group (5 people), it’s a recommendation that you consider covering yourself and your group with a travel insurance plan in order to protect against the unexpected conditions. Group policies are not only cheap but also convenient and easy to manage. Group policies offer a cheaper plan rather than solo travelers travel insurance plan price, making the process of getting everyone insured hassle-free, while also giving you overall peace of mind. Just keep in mind while buying group travel insurance, other group members also know about the benefits and terms and conditions because it’s good to know what to do or not and what will be covered in your group travel insurance.

Requirements of Group Travel Insurance policy:

  • Number of People: – Five or more than five members must be in the group.
  • Duration of Travel: -Trip should start on the same day and ends at the same also.
  • Insurability of Each Member: -All the group members should meet the basic eligibility criteria for the group travel insurance plan being purchased.

The Advantages of Group Travel Insurance Policies: –

  • Cheaper Rates: The most notable advantage of a travel insurance plan through a group travel policy is that it costs less than purchasing individual travel insurance policies for each member of the group. The group travel insurance plans may offer you the same coverage amounts & benefits but can be cheaper by about 10%-20%.
  • Easy Administration: For one group of travelers, you will have to fill out one form rather than filling them out individually. One master policy of your group travel insurance is provided with individual ID cards for each traveler.

Group Travel Insurance for Business Travelers: –

Group business travel insurance plans may be required for employees traveling on international business trips in groups of five or more. Group business travel insurance plans for groups provide the same benefits as solo business trip insurance plans, trip interruption, emergency medical evacuation, including coverage for baggage loss, and other emergency medical expenses, plus it’s not hard to manage and is also more cost-effective than purchasing separate policies for each traveler.
