Research: Read about the country you are planning to take an airplane flight to. Search out the places of interest, local culture and fundamental laws. A basic level of understanding can help you a long way to avoid a potential problem or getting into any kind of legal problem.

Packing: Pack safe and smart. Choose a safe bag preferably with lockable zippers and RFID Technology. For clothes, check out the dress code guideline of that country. You do not want to be dressed as an odd one out. Make sure that you do not carry any flashy jewellery. Make copies of important documents like passport, insurance etc. and pack them carefully.

Insurance: Might not seem like a necessity to many travelers, but an insurance is always advisable for the level of protection and compensation it offers you during any unforeseen situations related to theft, health, and so on. Check with your company what your travel insurance cover or do not cover, simultaneously ensuring that all the activities you intend to do on your trip is covered.

  • Be aware of the surroundings. Don’t let your guard down to snap the perfect picture for your social media platforms. If you notice anyone following or trying to get your attention, leave the area immediately
  • Be careful while using public Wi-Fi, as hackers looking for information might just access your data like credit card details or security code etc.
