One especially valuable piece of their data was the most affordable day to acquire airline tickets. You might have discovered Tuesday was the positive ticket-buying day, but not anymore. Since more business passengers are prefering to fly during the week, the best day to buy tickets to Miami is now Sunday. To save even more extra money, try to book on that Sunday that is a 21 days advance of your trip. (We’ll wait for you to mark your records respectively).

Thanks to low ticket prices and a higher volume of planes and airline businesses, that dream holiday is no longer out of your reach. “For today’s traveler, this convergence of factors — more planes, lower prices, more purposes — is outstanding,” Greg Schulze, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Services at LatinOFare.

Cheapest Time to Fly Domestically

Historic data from 2019 recommends that January was the most economical month to travel domestic, the next two most affordable months being September and October. Touring in September can save you an expected 10% on flights connected to the average yearly ticket price. The most costly month to travel? It should come as no astonishment that traveling in summer, especially in the month of July can be a steep hole due to the costly flight prices.

Cheapest Time to Fly Internationally

For international destinations, we suggest flying in March when flight prices are approximately $621 as compared to December when they steep up to $963 for a round-trip. Flying in March can save you as much as 15% combined with the average annual ticket price. Traveling in December can result in flight prices up by about 31% more than on a standard. October is the next most affordable option, when flight costs average at about $663. The most expensive days to fly international or domestic are from Friday through Monday. Airfare hike is published by airlines mostly by Friday evening. Accordingly, those wishing to travel on weekends have to bear with relatively expensive fares.
